Rachel Lang is the oldest of five siblings, and she spent her childhood years entertaining them with her stories. She made up adventurous tales that left them laughing or taught them something she had learned.

She continued down a creative path, working in film production, marketing, and nonprofit development. In 2006, she started her astrological consulting practice and today works with individuals and businesses.

She is an internationally recognized speaker, teacher, and author. Her most recent book, Modern Day Magic: 8 Simple Rules to Realize Your Power and Shape Your Life, is available in your favorite bookstore or online.

Rachel works at the intersection of spirituality, social engagement, and art. She was recently elected to serve on the Ojai City Council. She is also a board member of the National Council for Geocosmic Research.

She has always wanted to share stories with children and wrote As Above, So Below for her daughter, Stella. Rachel wanted to pass on to her daughter the feelings of magic and wonder she felt when she looked at the night sky.

That first book opened her imagination, and she decided to bring more stories to life.
